ICC is different. Our people give us the competitive advantage we are most proud of. We directly employ skilled trades people; they are loyal to the project, obligated to the client, and aware of important timelines.
Between our two offices we have 60 employees. Our committed and flexible team of project managers and coordinators have made it possible for us to secure projects in numerous communities throughout BC and Alberta.
Here is a brief introduction to a few people in our organization.
Eldon Ortlieb, British Columbia
Eldon was born, raised and educated in Alberta. He has been in the construction industry since graduating from a civil engineering program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He began his career as a project manager; with increased experience he took on more sophisticated construction management positions. Eldon left a leading construction firm to found ICC in 1991.
Byron Volkman, Alberta
Byron was also born, raised and educated in Alberta. Over his professional career he became very familiar with the inner workings of the construction industry. Since 1979, Byron has either been directly involved in construction or real estate. He joined ICC in 1997 to take a leading role in opening an office in Edmonton, Alberta.
Jeffrey Hansen-Carlson, Western Canada
Jeffrey has been with ICC since 2006. He spends his time ensuring that there is a steady stream of projects coming online in BC and Alberta. You will see him networking at industry events, on the tradeshow floor, and on the beat in search of construction opportunities. If you need construction services throughout Western Canada, Jeffrey is the individual you need to connect with first.
